Keyboard shortcuts

All keyboard shortcuts and mouse actions of the kaiport desktop app on macOS, Windows and Linux – windows and tabs, panes, terminal, panels, editor and app.

This page lists the keyboard shortcuts of the kaiport desktop app, for macOS and for Windows and Linux, and the mouse actions in the terminal, the tab bar and the file panes. The app also has a short overview built in.

Overview in the app

Open Settings → About → Keyboard shortcuts and click Show overview. The dialog lists the most important shortcuts with the keys for your system.

The font shortcuts change Font size in the settings in steps of one, from 8 to 32, for all terminals; the default size is 13. ⌘=Ctrl= works like ⌘+Ctrl+.

On Windows and Linux, CtrlC and CtrlV belong to the shell – CtrlC stops the running command – so copy and paste use CtrlShiftC and CtrlShiftV in the terminal.

Panels

ActionmacOSWindows and Linux
Show or hide AI Pilot⌘JCtrlJ
Show or hide the file browser⌘BCtrlB

Tabs of FTP, S3, WebDAV and Azure connections have no terminal. There, the shortcuts for the file browser, find, clear and the panes do nothing; ⌘JCtrlJ opens AI Pilot.

On macOS, the usual system shortcuts work as well, for example ⌘Q to quit, ⌘H to hide kaiport and ⌘M to minimize the window.
